Meet Our Doctors

Angela Razza
DVM
Recognizing her passion for animals at a young age, Dr. Razza built a life for herself that revolved around them. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from North Carolina State University with her bachelor’s degree in Animal Science. Wanting to diversify her skill set, Dr. Razza worked in a variety of settings such as human pharmaceuticals, wildlife rehabilitation, animal shelters, a dairy farm, cheetah conservation and reproduction, transgenic research, and several veterinary hospitals (both small animal and equine).
After being trained in surgery through the comparative biomedical center, she returned to North Carolina State University to receive her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Razza decided to become a veterinarian for the sole purpose of becoming a small animal surgeon. While she enjoys all surgeries, orthopedic procedures are her favorite. Restoring function and relieving pain for her patients is the most rewarding part of her career. Additionally, she is Fear Free certified and takes patient comfort very seriously. She sees herself as a caretaker and strives to alleviate the stress and anxiety associated with hospital visits for all animals.
Dr. Razza and her husband relocated from North Carolina with their precious pup, Sam. Outside of work, she enjoys exploring new areas, creating art, reading/writing, hiking, and spending time with her family.

At home she enjoys spending time with her husband, two children, and two cats, (Minion and Merlyn) In her free time she is actively involved in scouting, enjoys backpacking and volunteers for Michigan Avian Experience helping injured Raptors.
